Md. Ayub Ali, has been
working as Associate Professor and Head, Department of Plastic Surgery,
National Institute of Traumatology & Orthopedic Rehabilitation (Pongu
Hospital), Dhaka. He was graduated & obtained his MBBS (Dhaka) in 1984. He started his teaching
carrier as lecturer, Dept. of Anatomy of Dhaka Medical College in 1994. He
successfully completed his Post-graduation i.e. FCPS (Surgery), from IPGMR (BSMMU) in Jan, 1999. He
also obtained his MS (Plastic
surgery) from Dhaka Medical
College in Jan, 2006.
Md. Ayub Ali, has been
working as Associate Professor and Head, Department of Plastic Surgery,

Hospital), Dhaka. He was graduated & obtained his MBBS (Dhaka) in 1984. He started his teaching

also obtained his MS (Plastic
surgery) from Dhaka Medical
College in Jan, 2006.
He completedhis “Fellow-ship in Cleft & Craniofacial Surgery” in 2007 from SR University,
Chennai, India, under Prof. Jyotsna Murthy, the renowned Cleft surgeon in
India.,Later, He was also trained as a “Training-Fellow” in “Hand & Reconstructive
Microsurgery” at Ganga Hospital, India, under Dr. Rajasabapathy, the legendary
Microsurgeon in this subcontinent. In addition to Microsurgical & various
innovative Plastic Surgical interventions, He has performed more than 6000
successful various congenital facial cleft surgeries , he is the life member of
Indian Society for the Cleft Lip Palate & Craniofacial Anomalies (ISCLPCA)
& also the Life member of Association of Plastic Surgeons of India (APSI)
since 2007.
Dr. Ayub Ali has been
selected as International Scholars for 2015 by the American Society of Plastic
Surgeons ( ASPS ) & Plastic Surgery Foundation( PSF) committee in USA, to
attend ASPS/ PSF Annual meeting 2015 in Boston, Illinois, USA from 16 to 20
Oct, 2015. Following the conference, He was also offered to work in two
prestigious Institutions for 3 weeks organized by ASPS /
PSF, USA.
More than 30 Scientific
Research works have been presented by him in various national &
International forums among which, 15 scientific papers along with the editorial
in “Bangladesh Journal of
Plastic Surgery (BDJPS)” of
Dr. Md. Ayub Ali, have already been published in different National and
International Journal. He is actively involved in Scientific Research works as
Reviewer & also working as honouraryAsst. Editor BDJPS in addition to his
professional job.
